RMHC Saves Triplets Lives

The Carlton family is forever thankful for the Ronald McDonald House Organization. They had triplets, Londyn, Kingston, and Major; they all weighted less than a pound each. Miraculously, they are six years old now and all healthy and have successfully started school. 

Londyn, unfortunately had a seizure recently and had to be admitted to the Hospital in Springfield. She was in the ICU and couldn't be transported back to the families hometown of Branson. Her parents couldn't leave her for a second so the hospital recommended RMHC. The RMHC that they are staying at is hosting its annual Share a Heart Campaign.

During this period, $1 red, $5 pink and $20 gold paper hearts can be purchased at participating McDonald’s restaurants throughout southwest Missouri. These donations go directly to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.

40 Years of Partnership with Coke-A-Cola

Forty years ago last month, the first Ronald McDonald House opened in Philadelphia to provide temporary housing and support services to families of children receiving life-saving medical care at a nearby hospital.  Partnership with Coke-A-Cola

Coke helped fund the first Ronald McDonald House in Georgia.

At the grand opening of the house the Coke bear came to celebrate with the children.

Mittens for a Cause

Ronald McDonald is seen here handing out red and white striped mittens to the employees of 9&10 Newsroom in Northern Michigan. Participating McDonalds are selling these mittens to support the Ronald McDonald House of Grand Rapids and Landing who help over 600 families a year. The mittens are sold for $5, and can be paid at participating McDonalds restaurants or online. Mittens for a Cause

New Ronald McDonald House Set to Open

Tomorrow is finally here for this one Ronald McDonald House Charity home. The RMHC building is planned to open in the coming days in Arkansas right across the street from Arkansas Children's Hospital. A now - 32 families - will be able to find a place to get away from the stress at home and stay in a home where they can rest at ease in the new 32,000 square foot home which is located on 10th and Doctor Martin Luther King Drive. The foundation said the previous home was rusty and had a limit in bathrooms for families. New RMDH set to open

RMHC to be Goodfellows Recipient

The Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Southwest is one of the 2016 recipients for the A-J Media-sponsored Goodfellows campaign, which accepts donations from readers to benefit local charities.

Linda Limon, director of operations for RMDH, said a majority of the families that use the house do so because they have premature babies in the NICU. These donations are huge for the organization because we rely so much on volunteers and donations. During the holidays we are typically at maximum capacity so it’s a busy time, we get a lot of volunteers that bring in meals they’ve prepared and we get donations but we need things like toilet paper and paper towels; common household items. These donations from the Goodfellows will help us tremendously in those areas. We appreciate the Goodfellows organization and everything they have done for the RMHC! Goodfellows Recipient

Greenfield Elementary pupils donate food to Ronald McDonald House

The students of Greenfield Elementary School SCA are pictured as they are about to deliver canned good and pre-packed snacks to the Ronald McDonald House in Roanoke at the Carillon's Roanoke memorial Children's Hospital, where they give children and families foods and snacks for those who are ill to give them something to smile about, but it also etched the children a lesson to know how blessed and lucky they are. Pasadena’s Ronald McDonald House Raises $305,000

Ray and Lynn Crouse pose with Ronald McDonald during as the Ronald McDonald House Charity hosts its 12th annual fundraiser on November 5th at the Langham Huntington Hotel, where over 300 people came out to the special event to raise $305,000 for families of the ill who are undergoing treatment in local hospitals.
