The Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Southwest is one of the 2016 recipients for the A-J Media-sponsored Goodfellows campaign, which accepts donations from readers to benefit local charities.
Linda Limon, director of operations for RMDH, said a majority of the families that use the house do so because they have premature babies in the NICU. These donations are huge for the organization because we rely so much on volunteers and donations. During the holidays we are typically at maximum capacity so it’s a busy time, we get a lot of volunteers that bring in meals they’ve prepared and we get donations but we need things like toilet paper and paper towels; common household items. These donations from the Goodfellows will help us tremendously in those areas. We appreciate the Goodfellows organization and everything they have done for the RMHC! Goodfellows Recipient
